The Berlin Panorama to open insolvency and plans to launch new format
Jörg Wichmann requested on February 28 to open insolvency proceedings on his own assets before the district court Charlottenburg (Berlin).
Panorama files for insolvency. Jörg Wichmann, responsible for the Berlin fair, requested last February 28 to open insolvency proceedings on his own assets before the Charlottenburg district court (Berlin).
The organizer of Panorama Berlin and Selvedge Run plans to launch a restructuring process. “We have pulled the plug. Now it’s our goal to create a new format,” the organization explained to TextilWirtschaft.
This change takes place shortly after the fair moved its location to the Berlin Tempelhof, where Bread & Butter was in the past, after several seasons at Messe Berlin. For now, the organizers have indicated that they will keep the celebration of the fair in the same space. Panorama’s move was framed in a broader strategic plan, which aimed to revive the fair.
In addition to Panorama, the organization also manages Neonyt, specialized in sustainability. During its last calls, the event experienced strong growths.
