Founded by the Brenninkmeijer family, that still remains as head of the group. It started in Netherlands in 1841 with an offer to bring fashion at a more affordable price. The group is one of the biggest retailers of the world by revenue and it has a strong presence in Europe, but it is also in Mexico, Brazil and China.
