Marco Gobbetti
CEO of BurberryMarco Gobbetti joined Burberry as CEO in 2017 coming from the French company Celine, where he was president and CEO from 2008 to 2016. Gobbetti joined the company to end a two-year-tenure of Christopher Bailey as both CEO and creative director. He was first named president and a couple months later he was appointed CEO, starting a new era at the company, that also hired Riccardo Tisci as new creative director. Before joining Burberry, Gobbetti was president and CEO of Givenchy and CEO of Moschino from 1993 to 2004. In his early career, the Italian executive worked in marketing and sales at Bottega Veneta.
