Off-White is the most popular brand for the second time in a row. According to the Hottest Brand ranking produced by Lyst, Virgil Abloh’s brand is once again the most famous firm in the last quarter of 2019. Fashion’s search platform is based on a formula generated from the search data of Lyst and Google, conversion and sales rates mentions in social networks of brands and participation statistics.

 

This time, the data depicted more than 9 million users and making streetwear the winner once again. According to Lyst’s data, “streetwear remains the most powerful force in fashion” and Off-White has maintained the top spot thanks to the high demand for sweatshirts, t-shirts, and sneakers.

 

In the top positions are luxury brands such as Gucci and Balenciaga that have reinvented themselves and launched some more urban-style pieces.

 

Among the biggest changes in the ranking is the rise of the fourteenth to the fourth position of Moncler. According to Lyst, the climb has been attributed to Moncler’s Genius project, an initiative that brings together different designers to create capsule collections under the brand name.

 

 

 

 

“With Moncler Genius we moved from the traditional bi-seasonal show to a monthly launch system. We went beyond the borders of seasonality, age, and taste, talking to all generations,” said Roberto Eggs, director of operations at Moncler.

 

The quarterly study of The Lyst Index has also published the Hottest Products list, headed by the belt with the Gucci double G buckle, followed by Amina Muaddi’s Gilda sandals and Prada Monolith boots in the third position.
