Chanel celebrates its love for Jean-Paul Goude in Milan

Chanel celebrates Jean-Paul Goude. The French house has organized an exhibition to commemorate thirty years of its collaboration with the French photographer and artist. The exhibition, titled In Goude We Trust!, opens its doors this Thursday in the building of the Palazzo Giureconsulti in Milan and will be open to the public until December 31.

The exhibition is a retrospective through the thirty years, during which the French company and the artist collaborated in different creative projects. Some of the most impressive fashion photographs and the most iconic perfume campaigns are displayed, including those of the Égoiste fragrances of 1989 and Coco of 1992.

In addition to the exhibition, Goude has organized a dance competition inspired by the saga of Chance perfumes, which will bring together the best dancers who pass the different phases of the casting. The winners will get an exclusive dance experience in Paris from Chanel and the opportunity to photograph themselves with the photographer.

It is not the first time that Milan has hosted an exhibition of Goude’s works. In 2016, the Italian shoe company Tod’s sponsored the So Far So Goude exhibition at the Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea in Milan.
