Natura lands in Asia and starts operations in Malaysia
The Brazilian cosmetics group started its business in the Asian market where it chose Malaysia as its first operation focus through its online and physical channel.
Natura, more globalized. The Brazilian cosmetics group, first in Latin America by revenue, has started its operation in Malaysia, the first city in the Asian market where the group is present. Plans of the group include boosting its online channel and then opening physical stores.
Since the Brazilian group acquired The Body Shop in 2017, Natura boosted its international growth using the structure of the chain that was previously owned by L’Oréaland that was present in different European and Asian markets.
Natura started its direct sale, channel that continues to be the core of its distribution strategy, but has been increasing its store presence during the last couple of years. In fact, the company already has more than 40 stores of its Natura brand in different countries around the world.
Natura&Co, owner of Aesop, The Body Shop and soon Avon, closed the first half of its fiscal year with sales for 1.6 billion dollars.
