Moncler increases its revenue by 10% in third quarter boosted by Asia
The Italian luxury fashion company had a revenue of 995.2 million euros, compared to 872.6 million euros in the same period last year.
Moncler closes the first nine months on the rise. The Italian company has ended the period with a growth of 14% of its revenue, up to 995.2 million euros, compared to 872.6 million euros in the same period last year.
By region, Asia has been where the group’s sales have registered a better performance. In the region, the company has raised its revenue by 59%, to 403 million euros. In Italy, its local market, the company has grown 6%, while in Europe and America, the company has grown 11% and 15%, respectively.
The company, known for its puffer jackets and winter sports attires, increased its revenue by 16% in its directly operated stores, while the wholesale channel grew 11% in the period. “Moncler has recorded double-digit revenue growth in the third quarter of 2019, despite unexpected external events which affected our performance,” stated Remo Ruffini, chief executive officer of Moncler.
