Lululemon taps first chief brand officer
Nikki Neuburger has joined the Canadian sportswear company after working as global head of marketing for Uber Eats and global vice president of Nike Running.
Lululemon creates a new position. Nikki Neuburger has joined the Canadian sportswear company after working as global head of marketing for Uber Eats for the past two years and previously as global vice president of Nike Running for 14 years.
Neuburger will start in the new position on January 20, where she will lead marketing, creative, communications and sustainability functions to drive the company’s global brand and storytelling initiatives, as stated by the company in a press release.
Neugurger will report directly to Calvin McDonald, chief executive officer of the company. The appointment comes months after Lululemon announced its strategic plan focused on its international expansion, the growth of its digital business and the expansion of its offer with new lines.

“Nikki is an innovative marketing leader with a proven track record of building and scaling global brands, making her the ideal person to become Lululemon’s first chief brand officer,” stated McDonald.
The Canadian company ended the third quarter of its fiscal year with sales of 2.5 billion dollars, up 20% year-on-year. Its turnover, on the other hand, reached 347.6 million dollars in the third quarter of 2019.
