Interparfums and Oscar de la Renta extend fragrance license deal until 2031
The luxury company has signed an agreement with the perfume giant that has also a five-year extension option.
Interparfums keeps its licensees. The perfume company has signed an agreement with the luxury brand Oscar de la Renta to extend its perfume license deal up until 2031. The agreement has also a five-year extension option, up to 2036.
“While working closely with Interparfums creative, commercial and marketing teams, we have achieved significant sales growth over the last 6 years, bolstering the Oscar de la Renta fragrance franchise globally”, Alex Bolen, Oscar de la Renta CEO stated.
After the launch of its new fragrance, Bella Rosa, the revenue of the company increased 3.8% in the first half. Also, the company boosted its sales up to 54.8% in the United States in the period.
Interparfums ended its first half with a rise in sales of 4.2%, up to 126.6 million euros. The company expects to maintain its growing pace during the next quarter and to finish its fiscal year 2019 with sales for 480 million euros.
