Elie Saab Junior: Lebanese designer introduces children’s wear
Elie Saab spreads its wings. The Paris-based company prepares the launch of its first children’s fashion line. Elie Saab Junior will be licensed to Simonetta, an Italian children’s clothing manufacturer since the 1950s, and Andrea Montelpare, a company specializing in children’s luxury footwear. The footwear line was launched today at the Andrea Montelpare showroom in Milan.
Simonetta is also a licensee of Tod’s or Balmain. With this new project, Elie Saab increases its broadening in new categories in addition to those in which it already operates: haute couture, ready-to-wear and interior design.
Although the footwear line was launched today at the Andrea Montelpare showroom in Milan, its collection of garments for autumn-winter 2020 will debut at Pitti Immagine Bimbo on January 16. Both lines will be distributed in multi-brand stores and in department stores.
